This option is perfect for small business owners and entrepreneurs who are looking to create a new website and get their business online.

Some of the things you will need for your website project are:

Domain name registration
Logo and colour palette
Content you want added to the site
Email marketing account (to connect to an opt in form)

If you don’t have a logo and colour palette already, I can provide instructions to help select a suitable colour palette and we can use a text logo on the website.

For your content, our Client Workbook provides guidance on the information you will need to provide to make your project a success.

If you would like me to create your new business website, then yes it will need to be built using WordPress.

I have built sites using many different platforms and find WordPress to be the most flexible for the needs of a growing business.

If you want to use a different platform, then unfortunately I am not the right person for your project.

You’ll need to be available via Messenger Chat or WhatsApp during the eight hours we have scheduled together. This is important to being able to get feedback and make decisions to keep the project moving quickly during this time.

To build your new business website, there is no extra cost as we will use free quality plugins and theme.

However, there are annual costs associated with maintaining a website, as well as optional services you can choose if needed:

Domain Name: If you don’t already have one, you will need to purchase your domain name prior to your Project Day. The cost is approximately $20/year depending on what domain registrar you choose.

Hosting: All WordPress websites need to be hosted. If you don’t have hosting already, you may want to consider our website management options. If you would rather manage your own website, you can also select your own preferred hosting provider.

This option is for what I sometimes refer to as a “Phase 1” build. I’m creating a digital foundation for you. This generally includes 5-7 core pages needed to get your website started. This usually consists of a Home, About, Services/Products, Contact, and Blog (or similar types of pages). The pages must follow the same general design format.

Sometimes one phase is all that’s needed, but if you’re ready to grow your website you can book extra “digital days” to incorporate any advanced functionality.

When you use our booking calendar, you will be able to pay via credit card with Stripe as the Payment Processor.

If you would prefer to pay by direct deposit, please send us a message via our contact form. Let us know what date you are interested in and we will get back to you with the required details.

Should you decide that you want to cancel your project for any reason, you can do so at no cost up to 3 weeks prior to your project’s scheduled date.

If you need to cancel after this, there are no refunds (except in exceptional circumstances at my discretion), but you may still reschedule, or transfer the deposit to another service.

Should you need to reschedule your project for any reason, you must advise me at least 14 days prior to your project date.

If you need to reschedule within the 14 day period, then a fee of 20% will apply. This will need to be paid before securing your new project date.
