We have created a range of different website themes for various trades and industries.

Our child themes are built using WordPress and the free versions of the Kadence theme and Kadence Blocks plugin.

The benefit of starting with a template website is that you have a really good idea of what the end result will be like.

Follow our instructions to import the child theme and demo content to your new WordPress install. It will create your own copy of the child theme site with the page layouts all ready to go for you.

You can then simply change the logo, replace the images and text with your own content, and even adjust the colours and fonts to make it unique for your own business.

This package is perfect for entrepreneurs and small business owners who are looking for a new basic website build or a refresh of an existing website.

The Done For You package is the best option for those who are new to WordPress and just starting out with their first website.

You will need the following:

Domain name registration
Logo and colour palette
Email marketing account
Content you want added to the site

If you don’t have a logo and colour palette already, I can provide instructions to help select a suitable colour palette and we can use a text logo on the website.

For your content, the Client Workbook provides guidance on the information you will need to provide.

If you would like me to build your website, then yes it will need to be in WordPress. I have built sites using many different platforms and find WordPress to be the most flexible for the needs of a growing business.

You’ll need to be available via Messenger Chat or WhatsApp during the eight hours we have scheduled together. This is important to being able to get feedback and make decisions to keep the project moving quickly during this time.

Yes. There are annual costs associated with your website as well as optional services, if needed.

Domain Name: If you don’t already have one, you will need to purchase your domain name prior to your Project Day. The cost is approximately $20/year depending on what domain registrar you choose to go through.

Hosting: All WordPress websites need to be hosted. If you don’t have hosting already, you may want to consider our website management options. If you would rather manage your own website, you can also select your own preferred hosting provider.

When you use our booking calendar, you will be able to pay via credit card with Stripe as the Payment Processor.

If you would prefer to pay by direct deposit, please send us a message via our contact form to let us know what date you are interested in and we will send you an email with the required details.

As a minimum, you will need the following to get started:

The 14 day priority support is aimed at answering any questions you might have with getting your first website up and running. If you need a bit more hand holding through the process, I will do my best to make sure you are able to make the most out of your new child theme website.

Although you can always request support after the 14 day period, the level of support will be focused on things such as issues with the child theme and bug reporting.

In the first instance, I recommend you have a look at the child theme support documents which gives you the instructions on how to customise the different elements of your website.

If you find that you need more assistance with content creation, adjusting the theme settings to your branding, redesigning page layouts etc, I recommend booking in for a basic business website.

This package is for what I sometimes refer to as a Phase 1 build. I’m creating a digital foundation for you. This includes generally 5-7 pages. These usually consist of Home, About, Services, Contact, and Blog (or similar types of pages). The pages must follow the same general design format.

Sometimes one phase is all you need but, in the event you are ready to grow your site, I offer a custom website option to our clients to then incorporate any advanced functionality they require.

In the first instance, I recommend you have a look at the child theme support documents which gives you the instructions on how to customise the different elements of your website. If you need any steps clarified, you are welcome to reach out via email.

If you are still having problems after this, I recommend purchasing an Installation Setup and we can set everything up for you.
