  • Setting up Google Analytics, Search Console and Tag Manager

Red Lilly Web Design - Project Calls

If you are new to website building, you could try to outsource a lot of the above to a more experienced website techie. However, I am a big believer that a website owner should have a basic understanding of what is going on in the backend of their site.

With this little bit of extra technical knowledge, you can be confident in doing small tasks for yourself. If you were wanting to outsource later on, you will have a better understanding of what to ask for, plus what to check when a job has been completed.

Although sessions can be booked in for 1-3 hour time slots, I do allow an extra 15-30mins of overtime as needed. Sometimes technology doesn’t want to play the game on the day, or unexpected delays occur during a session. This extra time allows us the ability to resolve the task we are working on without having to cut things short.

Lastly, I also love sharing the tips and tricks that I have learnt along the way, so where it’s relevant I will show you interesting tools that I know about, point you towards handy resources, plus make suggestions to improve your overall workflow.

I can’t wait to help you increase your technical knowledge and grow your overall website building confidence!

FAQs

To make the most of your available time, ensure you take a few minutes to write out some of the key issues you would like to work on. If you have a few things to cover, try to prioritise them so that we can focus on the most important ones first up.

Another small thing that can make a big difference is ensuring you have all your required account logins on hand. If we need to access any of your accounts, we don’t want to waste time searching for /resetting passwords.

You can also send through any extra details you would like to share prior to your session to support@redlilly.com.au

For most general website issues, I will most likely not require direct access to any of your accounts. As part of the online meeting, you will be sharing your screen and I will direct you as needed. You will log into your own accounts as needed.

If there is a situation where I would potentially need access, for example afterwards to help with fixing a more complex problem or following up on some actions on your behalf, I will let you know.

Depending on what is required, I will advise the best options available for providing secure access and logins to the required account/s.

These are online training sessions, and therefore we will use Zoom to connect. Zoom is a video conferencing software that can be used by anyone.

As part of the booking confirmation, a zoom meeting link will automatically be created. At the time of your session, click on the provided link to launch zoom and join the meeting.

Visit https://zoom.us to learn more and to download the program.

Although I recommend recording training sessions for easy future reference or to review what was discussed, the ultimate decision is up to you.

I will check with you prior to starting any recording, and if you don’t wish for this to occur just let me know.

If you do wish for a recording to occur, I will share it with you afterwards via a dropbox link so that you can download a copy.

I promise that I will do my very best to assist you with the problems you have. To ensure that I can do this, I do ask that you give me as much detail about what you need help with when making your booking.

I can then do some research beforehand to prepare so that we can make the most of your available time. If I determine that it is something that is beyond my capability, I will let you know. You can then either select to get a refund or to work on a different problem of your choosing.

If we are unable to reasonably resolve your website issues during the booked session, I will also attempt to research the problem afterwards and send you any relevant helpful information.

At the end of the day, if you are not satisfied with the help I have provided or feel that you haven’t gotten any value at all out of our session, I will provide you with a refund.
