Upgrading From Free To Pro

If you signed up for the free library and then decided to upgrade to the Pro Library, you will receive a new access code.

When you open up the Kadence Design Library, click on the plus icon (Cloud Connect) where you will be able to see all the libraries you are connected to.

Click on the trash can for the Red Lilly Blocks Library to disconnect it.

Re-enter the connection URL and your new Pro access key and click the “Add Connection” button to finalise set up.

You will now have access to both the Pro and the Free Library layouts.

Colours & Fonts

Block layouts have been designed to use the global colours and typography from your Kadence theme.

For the site colours, you may have set your 9 different global theme colours in a slightly different order, so you may need to adjust which colour is being selected to suit your website design.

Script Fonts

For layouts that have a “script” font displaying, the font style has been selected within the “Advanced Typography Settings” within the Advanced Text block.

You will need to either remove the selected font family to set it back to the default inherited style, or select your own custom script font.

Row Padding

Unless the padding has been changed to achieve a specific design, the following top and bottom padding has been set on the row block:

  • Desktop: 3XL (6.5rem)
  • Tablet: XL (5rem)
  • Mobile: XL (4rem)

You can adjust the padding however you like to create the desired “white space” between your page sections.

Custom CSS

For those layouts that have custom CSS added to them, it has been added to the Row Layout Custom CSS settings which can be found under the Advanced tab.

For custom CSS to work, and only effect the section you are importing, a CSS class will be added to the key elements that are being customised.

These specific classes, plus what element they have been assigned to, will be annotated in the Layout Instructions (see below).

You may choose to move the CSS code to either the Page Scripts area for that specific page, or to the Additional CSS area within the Customiser.

Layout Instructions

For specific layouts, a “hidden” row with some extra instructions will also be imported.

These instructions will only show for layouts that have more slightly more complex set ups, such as multiple sections, negative margins, z-indexes, etc.

This “hidden” row can be deleted once you have read the instructions and confident with making adjustments to your design.
